Seaweed America is Chilean company dedicated to the export a wide range of seaweeds. We can provide dry seaweed chopped in different granulometry depending of your requirements.
We are direct suppliers, our seaweed processing plant have total area of 30,000 m2, where they are carried out the processes of cleaning, selection, natural drying, mill and classification. We own two processing plant in the south and central location of the country that guarantee a constant supply of raw material.
Our company respect and care the environment an sustainability, so we work together with the government agency that regulate the extraction, process and exportation of the seaweed.
We specialized in brown seaweed: Lessonia nigrescens, Lessonia trabeculata, Durvillaea antartica and Macrocystis integrifolia/pyrifera (brown seaweed) with a monthly production over 400 MT, acquiring the seaweed totally from Chile, that is characterized to possess cold marine waters thanks the Humboldt current which contributes to the quality of the alginate.
