  <span style="font-size:18px;">In rest position, the valves are open. Hydraulic fluid can flow via the main spool insert without restrictions. The pressure acts on the bottom of the main spool. Simultaneously, pressure is applied via the nozzle &nbsp;to the spring-loaded side of the main spool and via channel to ball in the pilot control valve . Similarly, it acts via nozzle , control line , check valve &nbsp;and nozzle on the ball . Depending on the setting of the spring , pressure builds up upstream of the ball .<br />
