Kunzler and others at Bell Labs found that niobium tin retains
superconductivity under strong electric and magnetic fields, making
niobium tin the first substance to withstand high currents and magnetic
fields</span> <span class="">, Can be used for high-power magnet and electromechanical.</span> This discovery prompted the production of multi-strand cables 20 years later. <span class="">This
type of cable, when wound into a coil, forms a large, strong
electromagnet used in rotating machinery, particle accelerators and
